A 60-year-old man was captured by a train in Ebensee on Sunday morning while trying to cross a railway crossing despite closed barriers.

In Ebensee (Gmunden district) a 60-year-old pedestrian was captured by a train on Sunday morning. According to the police, the man crossed the tracks at a railway crossing just before the train set, despite closed railway barriers and red light. He stumbled and fell. The driver noticed this and immediately introduced a rapid braking. Nevertheless, the 60-year-old was caught by the train at the right foot and dragged several meters along.
