Pedestrian seriously injured after Hart Highway collision
RCMP say the investigation remains ongoing as they seek witnesses and dashcam footage and identify an early 2000s Ford F150 Supercrew.
- Prince George RCMP released CCTV photos of a truck believed to be involved in a collision on the Hart Highway early Sunday, Aug. 9, that left a pedestrian seriously injured.
- Shortly before 12:30 a.m., a man was struck in the northbound lane on the 1700-block of the Hart Highway while wearing a reddish-coloured hoodie and dark pants and carrying a red backpack.
- The truck is identified as an early 2000s Ford F150 Supercrew with two-tone navy and grey paint, aftermarket running boards, and oversized tires, according to CCTV Photo evidence.
- Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Prince George RCMP media relations officer, stated police are seeking witnesses and dash camera footage; anyone with information should contact the non-emergency line or Northern Crime Stoppers.
- Police closed northbound lanes for several hours to analyze the scene and redirect Drivers along North Nechako Road as the investigation remains ongoing.
