YORKVILLE — The Yorkville Police Department is investigating a fatal incident involving a pedestrian and an Amtrak passenger train that occurred June 12 at about 10:57 a.m. Police responded to the area behind Fairview Avenue in the village for reports of a pedestrian struck by an Amtrak train.
