Peavey Mart warns of fake websites, accounts imitating brand as stores close

Peavey Industries LP warns customers about fake websites and Facebook accounts that imitate Peavey Mart, selling non-existent goods at steep discounts to defraud customers and steal their information, according to Jest Sidloski, the vice-president of marketing.
The company announced plans to close all 90 stores across Canada after nearly 60 years in business, citing record-low consumer confidence, increased operating costs, and supply chain disruptions.
