Pearson: Amid wealth, we've forgotten our responsibilities

There is a curious and unsettling truth about Canada. We have grown wealthier, almost without interruption, yet more of our neighbours are hungry, unhoused, and one crisis away from collapse. This is not a contradiction we have examined sufficiently . We speak of it in fragments – housing shortages here, food bank lineups there – but rarely as a moral story about who we have become.
