Pearl City has another world championship to bring home to Hawaiʻi. The Pearl City Little League All-Stars defeated Curaçao 5-0 Saturday in the Senior League Baseball World Series championship game, becoming the first team from the United States to win the tournament since 2019.

Boston Schwager pitched six shutout innings, allowing four hits and striking out eight, and Graiden Duke went 2-for-2 and drove in three runs as Pearl City trounced Newark, Del., 12-0, in Friday’s United States Championship to advance to face Curacao today for the Senior League Baseball World Series (ages 13-16) title in Easley, S.C.
