President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Monday said the Mabini-Cayacay Small Reservoir Irrigation Project (SRIP) in Bohol would directly benefit over 700 farmers in the province, providing a reliable source of water for their crops and boosting local food supply.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. inaugurated the Mabini-Cayacay Small Reservoir Irrigation Project in Bohol as part of the government’s preparedness for a possible severe El Niño that could last until 2027. The president said irrigation projects are important to ensure water supply to farms and mitigate the impact of prolonged drought on food production.
