A Massachusetts man has been granted parole after serving more than three decades in prison for shooting and killing a man outside a New Bedford bar.Paul Solomonsen, a New Bedford resident, was found guilty of second-degree murder in 1995 and sentenced to life in prison with a possibility of parole. He went before the parole board in December 2025, and on March 18 the board returned its decision, according to parole documents.
