They are 2000 across France. The nurses of the Asalée network have not received their salary for almost 2 months. The sickness insurance which financed this association suddenly cut off the subsidies, following a report questioning its management. In Brittany, these nurses mobilized on 26 March to defend their employment.

Since December, and against the background of a conflict between the Asalée association and the CNAM (Caisse nationale de l'assurance maladie), CNAM has suspended the transfer of funds for the association (i.e. 100 million euros per year) which employs 2,000 nurses, 46 of whom in the Loire. Asalée, on cessation of payments, has applied for its placement in judicial reform. The court must rule this Friday.
