- Using records from October 2018 to February 2020, the study drew on 104,552 oral exam results provided by the University of Messina.
- At 8 am, pass rates were 54%, lower than midday, with success rising to 72% at 12 pm, then dropping to 51% at 4 pm.
- Vicario recommended, `for institutions, delaying morning sessions or clustering key assessments in the late morning may improve outcomes,` to enhance fairness and success rates, according to Vicario.
