Authorities have confirmed the death of a young man who died in a collision between an SUV and a school bus in Lakewood. The crash occurred around 7:33 p.m. at the intersection of Kipling Street and West 6th Avenue on the evening of December 6, 2025, when an SUV traveling at high speed collided with a truck. The bus was transporting a wrestling team from Central High School in Mesa County, who were in the area for a tournament.
