OAK ISLAND, N.C. (WECT) – The Town of Oak Island has announced that a portion of the Oak Island Pier will be closed for several weeks Friday. According to the town, the end section of the pier, including all King Fishing Stations, will be closed to the public for around two to three weeks starting on March 20.
