The Lokayukta has registered a suo motu case over the collapse of a concrete ceiling at a government primary school in Mugalolli Tanda, Bagalkot district, during class hours, in which six students were injured.

The incident happened on Wednesday at a government school in Mugallolli Thanda area in Karnataka's Bagalkot. Six students suffered injuries, but their situation was not serious and they were provide appropriate medical treatment, said officials.
Bagalkot: In connection with the incident where the concrete of the ceiling of the room collapsed while students were listening to a lesson in the class, the in-charge head master of the school and two engineers have been suspended and an order has been issued for dereliction of duty.
