This bill, supported by the government, was adopted by 345 votes to 177, in a final vote in the National Assembly on Tuesday. The left denounced a text "as ineffective as it was dangerous", adopted with the votes of the far right.

The bill, which has been adopted by a Renaissance MP, concerns persons who have been definitively convicted of certain crimes and offences punishable by at least five years in prison. The left denounces a text for the benefit of the "administrative authority".
After its adoption by the Senate on Monday, June 15, the Rodwell bill is still due to pass a final vote on Tuesday, June 16th in the National Assembly.
