A member of the Presidium of the Islamic Consultative Assembly said: A vote of confidence session for the proposed Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Support will be held in the Assembly in the next two weeks.
The President's letter to the Parliament states: "In implementation of Article 133 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran, I introduce Mr. Mehrdad Akhlaqi as the proposed Minister of Defense to receive a vote of confidence from the Islamic Consultative Assembly."
