Parent group sues Lakewood school board over Lincoln Elementary School closure vote

LAKEWOOD, Ohio -- A nonprofit formed by Lakewood parents is suing the city’s school board, accusing it of violating Ohio’s Open Meetings Act in the lead-up to a controversial vote to close Lincoln Elementary School and consolidate Pre-K programs.

WEM School Board to vote on closing Morristown building

After nearly a yearlong pause in the decision-making process, the Waterville-Elysian-Morristown School Board will vote Monday whether to close the Morristown building, which houses grades 5-8.
