Paranormal investigator Dan Rivera dies while on Tour with 'Annabelle,' an allegedly haunted doll
GETTYSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA, JUL 13 – Dan Rivera, 54, died during a sold-out paranormal tour with the Annabelle doll; autopsy results are pending and no suspicious circumstances were reported, officials said.
- During a Devils on the Run tour stop in Gettysburg, Dan Rivera, senior lead investigator for NESPR, died unexpectedly, with emergency responders performing CPR at his hotel.
- After the Warrens' Occult Museum closed in 2019, Rivera helped expand the Devils on the Run tour via viral TikTok videos with Ryan Daniel Buell.
- At the Gettysburg stop, organizers sold over 1,260 tickets across the weekend of July 11, 2025, and emergency responders performed CPR at Rivera’s hotel that night.
