September 22, 2026 | Ty Haataja · For the past few weeks, the flags of countries around the world have been flying above the streets of Hancock and Houghton. Each flag represents at least one Michigan Tech student, and were raised in the leadup to the 37th annual Festival of Nations, hosted this past weekend, by Michigan Tech and the surrounding community.
