The Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum (PPHM) has found a temporary location in downtown Amarillo for public display of artworks in its collection. The museum in Canyon was closed indefinitely in March 2025 by Walter V. Wendler, President of West Texas A&M University (WTAMU).
