Organizers held the tenth edition under the slogan 'We Run for Freedom' to highlight restrictions on Palestinian movement. The event had been suspended for three years due to the Israel-Hamas war and heightened Israeli security measures affecting the territory.
Finishing second in the full marathon, former detainee Mohamad Al-Assi dedicated his run to Palestinians still in prison. More than 13,000 people participated across the West Bank and Gaza Strip, including around 1,000 from various countries.
