Tahiti's dominance in swimming on day four of the 2025 Pacific Mini Games was broken by some golden moments shared by other Pacific Island swimmers.

Elder wins 3 gold, breaks 9 records

Sixteen-year-old Nehemiah Elder won three gold medals in the men’s 88kg weightlifting, smashing nine Oceania and Pacific Mini Games records. His lifts have boosted Fiji back up to third place on the medal tally, with 12 gold, 15 silver, and 13 bronze medals so far. Merewalesi Roden added her second gold in para table tennis singles.
