Rosatom will have to take another step if it wants to move forward with the construction of Paks II. The tender for the production of the control technology was previously won by the consortium of the French Framatome and the German Siemens, but since it is a dual-use technology, permits from the given countries are also required for foreign use, which the Parisian leadership granted, but the German one did not.

Experts say the delay in delivery to Germany is not a strategic problem for the project.
