NDMA warns of extreme Indus floods, Sindh prepares
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has warned of severe flood conditions in the Indus River. Between September 3 and 4, flood surges of 900,000 to 950,000 cusecs are expected to pass through the Panjnad Headworks. NDMA officials said that if the flow direction changes due to breaches, surges could reach 825,000 to 900,000 cusecs.
