- Salman Iqbal disclosed that the Pakistan Amateur Athletics Federation had dissociated from Arshad Nadeem last year and he sought financial help to train Nadeem in South Africa and rehab his calf muscle injury.
- The AFP said the measures were intended to protect the integrity of the sport, instructed affiliated units to cease dealings with banned officials, and informed World Athletics, the Asian Athletics Association, and Pakistan Sports Board.
