Pajama bottoms recalled over flammability hazard
Consumers are urged to stop using and destroy 18,700 recalled pajama bottoms that fail federal flammability standards, with refunds offered by the manufacturer.
- The CPSC announced a recall of roughly 18,700 Julie and Judah pajama bottoms Thursday due to a burn-injury risk and failure to meet flammability standards.
- Julie and Judah pajama bottoms were sold nationwide at Groove, J & S Kidswear, Just Between Friends, Mortons and Stella Mara and online at julieandjudahaccessories.com and marcusadlerny.com from March 2023 through May 2025, priced between $16 and $36.
- The garments include a range of children's prints and patterns such as fuzzy heart, gummy bear, candy and shooting star, while no injuries have been reported so far, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission said.
- Affected consumers should seek refunds from Marcus Adler Glove and are urged to stop using the pajama bottoms, destroy them, and mark them `recall` as advised by the CPSC and manufacturer.
- Because sales extended to May 2025, parents should check labels and purchase records; pants were sold in small, medium and large, while shorts came in small and medium sizes.
