Sheriff’s office to hire SROs for Jack schools | Jacksboro Herald-Gazette

The Jack County Sheriff’s Office is set to provide school resource officers for all three school districts in the county for the upcoming school year. Jacksboro Independent School District, Bryson ISD and Perrin- Whitt Consolidated ISD each approved a memorandum of understanding that said their district will be responsible for half of the SROs’ salary and operating expenses at $70,000, with the county picking up the other half.
