Pactum Raises $54 Million for AI Procurement Expansion
- Pactum AI, established in 2019 and headed by CEO Kaspar Korjus, revealed today that it secured $54 million in a Series C investment, with Insight Partners serving as the primary investor, to further develop its AI-driven procurement solution.
- This funding round comes after a remarkable year marked by a 2.5-fold increase in recurring revenue, a nearly fivefold growth in the value of purchases managed, and the addition of more than two dozen new clients from the Fortune 2000 list.
- Pactum's AI agents autonomously negotiate contracts in ten languages, completing some deals in 87 seconds and securing the largest deal worth $140.5 million with clients like Walmart and Maersk.
- Kaspar Korjus described the fundraising journey as arduous but said the investment signals Estonia’s ability to build and scale cutting-edge AI companies while empowering professionals to work alongside AI.
- This funding will enable Pactum to scale market reach and develop new AI agent innovations, aiming to automate procurement negotiations and free humans for more strategic tasks.
