BROWN COUNTY, WISCONSIN, AUG 12 – Jordan Love chose surgery after trying to play through a left thumb ligament injury and is expected to return as early as next week, Packers officials said.
- On August 12, 2025, Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst announced that Jordan Love will undergo a procedure to repair a ligament in his left thumb, with surgery scheduled for August 12.
- During the Saturday, August 9, 2025 preseason game against the New York Jets, Love injured his thumb when it hit a helmet and practiced with it taped.
