MONTOURSVILLE—A Lycoming County man was killed Friday when he was struck while attempting to retrieve an item from Interstate 180 just east of Montoursville.Lycoming County Coroner Charles E. Kiessling Jr. said John L. Erdos, 42, of South Williamsport, died at 8:12 p.m. Friday in the operating room of UPMC Williamsport where he was undergoing surgery for internal bleeding.
