- Chief Justice SA Dharmadhikari and Justice G Arul Murugan observed an apparent "irregularity" during the hearing, though the bench expressed no final view on the merits of the allegations.
- The bench has posted the case for further hearing next week, as the state prepares for the single-phase Assembly polls scheduled for April 23.
