Today (September 2), the Sejm's Public Finance Committee discussed the implementation of the National Health Fund's financial plan for 2025. The fund spent over PLN 204 billion on services, and its revenues were significantly higher than a year earlier, mainly thanks to additional funding from the budget. Despite this, the National Health Fund still owes over PLN 2 billion for limited services performed beyond the contract.
Clinics will offer free tests to diagnose serious arterial disease, which can lead to amputation. This applies to 1.6 million patients in Poland. The Ministry of Health has already prepared a regulation on this matter.
