Over 500 Arrested at London Palestine Action Protest
Police said 523 people were detained as officers resumed arrests for displaying support for the banned group after the High Court ruling.
- The Metropolitan Police warned that today's planned protest in London, organized by Defend Our Juries to support Palestine Action, is "likely to involve offending rather than a lawful protest."
- Supporting Palestine Action is illegal under the Terrorism Act, and the Met noted that showing support for the proscribed organization constitutes a criminal offence under the law.
