OTTUMWA, Iowa -- The Ottumwa Police Department have made an arrest after they say gunfire was exchanged on Thursday. According to Ottumwa PD, around 12:30 p.m., Wapello County Sheriff's Office deputies and Ottumwa PD officers were called to the 300 block of North Sheridan Avenue after deputies in the area heard gunfire.
