- During a Monday interview on AIT's Politics Today, Oshiomhole responded to Senate Leader Distinguished Senator Bamidele Opeyemi's characterization of the suspension as the "lowest point of the three years of the 10th Senate."
- Oshiomhole clarified he only noted a committee member claimed attendance signatures were attached to the final report, emphasizing, "no Senator told me that their signature was forged."
- Expressing regret for any embarrassment caused to the institution, Oshiomhole affirmed the suspension issue has been put to rest and the Senate has moved on.
