French Academy of Medicine: COVID-19 likely result of lab accident

The French National Academy of Medicine has now come out officially to back the theory that COVID-19 was likely caused by a lab leak in Wuhan, China.

After the American and German intelligence services, it is the French National Academy of Medicine that lends credit to the thesis of the laboratory leak at the origin of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. But it also insists on the risk of zoonoses, increased by the destruction of the environment.

On April 2, the Academy of Medicine published a report on the origins of the Covid-19. Scientists believe that a leak of the Wuhan laboratory virus is plausible due to "at-risk" scientific practices. They argue for better supervision of the activities of research laboratories.
