The Attorney General's Office of Georgia announced this Friday the arrest of former Prime Minister Giorgi Baramidze for an alleged crime of high treason, following statements in which he pointed out that the Armed Forces had committed war crimes during the conflict with Abkhazia between 1992 and 1993 and for which he faces four years in prison.
