INDIA, JUL 25 – Operation Sindoor destroyed nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir to avenge the April 22 Pahalgam attack by Pakistan-sponsored terrorists, government said.
- On May 7, 2025, India conducted targeted pre-dawn strikes under Operation Sindoor, eliminating multiple terrorist bases located across Pakistan and areas of Pakistan-administered Kashmir.
- Operation Sindoor was initiated to avenge the barbaric April 22 Pahalgam terror attack carried out by Pakistan-sponsored terrorists.
- The strikes targeted key command centres of Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba, groups responsible for earlier attacks like Pulwama in 2019.
