By default, the Tumbleweed distribution no longer protects the system from unauthorized access via AppArmor. Instead, SELinux is now used as a Mandatory Access Control (MAC). However, only new installations are affected by the change. If you already use openSUSE Tumbleweed, you will continue to use AppArmor. Existing systems will therefore not be changed automatically.
