The National Amazigh Song Festival kicked off Thursday at the Tamanrasset Cultural Center, in a festive atmosphere rich in color and sound. The festival, which was kicked off by local authorities, began with traditional music from the Tuareg heritage, such as Imzad, Tindi, and Tazemart, as well as performances by folkloric troupes and Baroud and Takouba dance. Poetry readings were also performed at the opening of this cultural event.
