OpenAI's Sam Altman accuses Musk of selling public market investors "on short-term space data centers"

- Defending his company's latest model, Altman claimed 5.6 Sol is the "best model in the world right now," while Musk accused him of "scamming" users and customers.
- Altman responded by calling Musk a scammer, writing: "Homeboy you're the one selling public market investors on short-term space data centers." Musk replied that SpaceX would begin "flying them" next year.
- SpaceX plans to launch up to one million compute satellites with the first AI1 design supporting peak power levels of up to 150kW. These orbital infrastructure plans remain controversial and untested.
