OpenAI and UK Sign New AI Agreement to Boost Security, Infrastructure, and Public service
UNITED KINGDOM, JUL 21 – The UK government and OpenAI aim to boost AI infrastructure and public sector efficiency, with over £2 billion invested in AI Growth Zones and plans to expand OpenAI's London office.
- In a London press release, OpenAI and the UK government signed a voluntary Memorandum of Understanding, deepening collaboration on AI security research and infrastructure investment, the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology said.
