OnlyFans Model Courtney Clenney Accused of Stabbing Her Boyfriend to Death in 2022 Reaches Plea Deal
Clenney’s attorneys say the deal is not final until a court hearing on Aug. 10, after prosecutors described the case as domestic violence.
OnlyFans model Courtney Clenney reached a plea deal on Friday in her murder case, avoiding a trial for the 2022 fatal stabbing of her boyfriend, Christian Obumseli.
The stabbing occurred on April 3, 2022, at the One Paraiso condominium in Edgewater, where Clenney was charged with second-degree murder after initially claiming she acted in self-defense.
Prosecutors described an "extremely tempestuous and combative relationship," citing 911 calls from neighbors and audio recordings where Clenney threatened Obumseli months before the fatal stabbing.
Larry Handfield, attorney for the Obumseli family, confirmed that all parties reached a resolution, stating the agreement will help start the family's healing process.
Attorneys will present the specific terms of the plea deal to the court on August 10, when the agreement becomes final pending the judge's formal acceptance.
