A year ago, on July 1, 2024, Logan Hillhouse, then 17, suffered an unexpected, unexplained cardiac arrest while working as a dockhand at Pontiac Cove Marina. He survived, thanks in large part to friends and strangers who performed CPR and then used an automatic external defibrillator to restart his heart.
