Two Men Charged, Third Suspect Sought After Deadly Double Shooting in Vaughan
York Regional Police have charged two men in connection with a May 13 double homicide in Vaughan, with victims Pasquale Casciato, 49, and Christian Belsito, 34, found dead from multiple gunshot wounds.
Officers responding to reports of gunfire at Kaiser Drive and Forest Drive just before 5:30 p.m. discovered the victims; suspects allegedly fled in a stolen blue SUV later found abandoned and set on fire near Huntington Road and Kirby Road.
Michele Moscone, 27, of Toronto faces two counts of first-degree murder, arson causing property damage and making or possessing an explosive substance, while Glen Mousseau, 55, of Windsor faces accessory after the fact to murder and arson charges.
A warrant remains outstanding for 48-year-old Gerard Murray of Windsor, considered dangerous by police and believed to frequent southwestern Ontario between Windsor and the Greater Toronto Area; police urged him to "seek legal advice and turn himself in."
Last Thursday, coordinated search warrants in Toronto, Windsor, and Hamilton yielded a loaded firearm and "materials used in the making of explosives" including Tannerite, plus three additional firearms and an extended magazine.
