ROCHESTER — An Austin child is breathing without a ventilator one week after a hit-and-run crash sent him into a coma. On May 27, a driver hit 11-year-old Tristen Ringlen as the child crossed the street in the 1300 block of Fourth Avenue Southeast in Austin.
