One Dead, One Unconscious in Apartment Building Fire in Nagoya (Kyodo News)

At around 1:10 a.m. on the 26th, a local resident called 119 to report that a two-story apartment building was on fire in Meito Ward, Nagoya City. According to the Aichi Prefectural Police Meito Police Station, one person of unknown age and gender, believed to be a resident, died, and Hiroki Shinohara (63), whose occupation is unknown, is unconscious and in critical condition.
