A fatal traffic accident occurred at kilometer 257 of the route leading from Coatepeque, Quetzaltenango, towards La Blanca, San Marcos. The mishap was recorded near the community Monte Cristo, where relief bodies were mobilized. The incident involved at least three private vehicles, according to the first reports.
