During a recent operation in the villages of Myślenice and Tokarnia, Polish police officers focused on drivers who used their high beams to warn others of a police check. They used a drone to monitor them.
Police officers in Poland have come up with a particularly faux tactic: with the help of a drone, they tracked down drivers who wanted to draw the attention of the officials to them by means of a light hoop.
Polish motorists have to expect consequences if they warn other road users by high beam of a police check. This has been demonstrated by the Polish police in a Facebook video.
They used a drone to monitor whether drivers were using their high beams to warn of police checkpoints. The operation lasted one day and was conducted in two municipalities. Forty-seven drivers received tickets.
