Clashes have erupted at protests in Serbia between supporters and opponents of the government. Tensions have escalated following more than nine months of persistent demonstrations against populist President Aleksandar Vucic.
Although the protest of students and citizens in Vrbas has not yet started, supporters and members of the Serbian Progressive Party gathered again in front of the premises of that party, and the police arrived in equipment to break up demonstrations.
