Northern Kentucky Representative Thomas Massie was only one of two Republicans to vote against the "Big Beautiful Bill" that passed the House of Representatives on Thursday.
The proposal for a budget received 218 favourable votes, with only two Republicans joining the 212 Democrats, who expressed themselves against the diploma.
